Patrick Malloy

Patrick Malloy holds a Ph.D. in African History from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is currently a professor in the Humanities Department at Hawkeye Community College, where he teaches introductory courses in Africa, the Middle East, cultural anthropology, and history. His current research interests include the colonial history of medicine, the spread and standardization of Swahili, and translation.
