The Wordsmiths of the Writer’s Forge bring you the first in a short series of Tools for the Toolbox. Friday the 16th at 6pm Eastern, The Shape of Story. Plenty of folks will tell you they have the One True Method of plotting out a story. But what if each form is valid and strong when used to tell the right tale? Join Sparrow F. Alden and compare a variety of story patterns, discussing the effects that each one creates in the reader.

Sparrow is a euro-looking woman with hazel eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. She's smiling, looking directly at you, and sitting in front of a poster which is a graphic blues and greens depiction of the Julia Set, a numerical concept related to fractals.
