The relationship between games and speculative fiction has changed over the decades into a dynamic fusion, offering powerful and immersive means of narrative engagement. Games can serve as a platform for world-building, inviting players to become active participants in the construction and exploration of fantastical realms. Games can be an interactive medium for more profound realizations of existing lore, providing new perspectives on well-established stories and characters. And games can have a reciprocal influence as the evolving gaming landscape shapes and contributes to the broader speculative fiction genre.
We invite you to roll some dice, bring your controllers, put on your VR headsets, and join us in Houston to talk and learn about all things games and fiction.
