Signum University and the Mythgard Institute invite you to join us in the Orlando area on Saturday, February 2nd, 2023, for our annual Sunshine Moot. Our theme this year is “Songs, Tales, and Poems”.
Various textures are added to the main narrative by musical interludes, tales of the past (legends, myths, histories) or the future (prophesies, foreseeings, predictions), and poems in recitation or in print. How do these narrative breaks support the author’s creative vision, advance the story, illuminate events, develop character, and add to the audience’s experience and understanding?
We are seeking creative presentations, academic papers, and interactive workshops and activities around our theme and will accept proposals from both online and local attendees. Please note, a conference theme helps tie the day together and optimize fun—and we welcome anyone to respond to the Call for Proposals. Our moots are awesome places for anyone to develop their presentation skills.
