Theresa L. Raimundo

Terri Raimundo is a Spanish Conversation preceptor at Signum Academy. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education, as well as a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University in South Carolina. Terri grew up in various Latin American countries with her parents who were missionaries.

Terri has privately tutored as well as classroom taught adults, high schoolers, and children. She has supported and led home educators in, not only Spanish, but numerous other subjects using her own experience educating her children at home. As a spiritual encourager and a pastor’s wife within a bilingual church ministry, Terri is passionate about Spanish and Hispanic cultural heritages. She has also had a fair bit of experience in simultaneous translation services (spoken).

As a teacher, Terri has had experience both in the USA and overseas. She has taught in various resource centers, homeschool co-ops and tutored Spanish I-IV classes for a prep school. In addition, she has a vast Latin American experience, having tasted various cultures including Andean, jungle, city and town, in South America and the Caribbean. Presently, Terri is translating into Spanish a book written by her aunt.
