Ashley is a freelance writer. She contributes to such sites as Fangirlish.com, popcultureretrorama.com and its podcast, the Dearly Debated podcast, and is a regular contributor to many podcasts at the We Made This Podcast Network. She shares her thoughts on film and television in these venues, focusing on the horror and science fiction genres, and serves as the resident “Trekspert” at Fangirlish, covering all things Star Trek.
Ashley resides in North Carolina with her husband, Ryan and cat, Oliver, along with a large quantity of board games, comic books, laserdiscs, and polyhedral dice. She would like to be Leslie Knope, Hermione Granger, and Brienne of Tarth when she grows up.
