Wait! What’s Happening with Middle-earth Maps!?

For those who may have missed it, in recent weeks Amazon has issued a slow reveal of information about its forthcoming LOTR television show in the form of maps posted on the Amazon website.

The first map was a pretty spare version, showing Middle-earth without any labels or annotations:

Lord of the Rings on Amazon Prime, Map 1
LOTR on Amazon Prime, Map 1

The next map added some labels, including the revealing use of “Calenardhon”:

Lord of the Rings on Amazon Prime, Map 2
Lord of the Rings on Amazon Prime, Map 2

Now, after several more iterations, each one revealing a little more information, the latest map includes the island kingdom of Númenor, confirming that the series will take place in the Second Age:

Lord of the Rings on Prime, Map 5
Lord of the Rings on Prime, Map 5

But what else do these maps reveal? Join Corey and Dave on Sunday night to find out!

Lord of the Rings on Amazon, Númenor

Join Dr. Corey Olsen and Dr. Dave Kale on Sunday, March 10, at 9pm ET for a cartographical analysis of the maps revealed by Lord of the Rings on Amazon Prime.
